As some of you may know already, Taiwan is hosting it’s annual Taipei LGBT (Gay) Pride festival starting on October 26th. ThinkTaiwan and TaiwanHipHop proudly support Taiwan Gay Pride and urge everyone to go out and check out the festivities even if you are not Gay. The Gay community in Taiwan needs tons of support from friends and family.
I am particularly proud to present to you a video in support of Taiwan LGBT (Gay) Pride produced by a wonderful media company in Taiwan called Portico Media which is run by an inspiring individual named Jay Lin. When I first saw this video it made me extremely emotional as the message behind this is “Love all the same, Same kind of Love”
This video is not a video of any type of Pride celebration or parade but rather the story between lovers who share the same kind of love as any other individual on the planet. These are real interviews with real Taiwanese people who share the same love and passion as anyone you know.
The video was shot and produced right here in Taipei, Taiwan and is done in the Chinese language but has complete English subtitles so that no one will miss the meaning and emotional message this video conveys. I truly have faith that the people of Taiwan will one day fully accept all Gay, Lesbian, and Transgender individuals and show them the respect that every person on Earth deserves.
Taiwan Gay Pride is the largest Gay Pride celebration in all of Asia and was able to attract over 125,000 people last year and hopefully many more this year! If you are unsure as to where you stand on this controversial issue, please take a few minutes out of your day to watch this inspiring video by Portico Media, and let it speak to your heart and I trust that even you will see that “Love All the same, Same kind of Love” is truly a message to live by.
